A Boys WISH LIST MUST: Nerf Fire Vision Football

2 Flares 2 Flares ×
What to get the boys in your life for their next birthday or holiday?  As a BzzAgent I was given the Nerf FireVision Football to test out.  Actually I was thrilled to get something fun for the kids to finally review.  I had never heard of this new product before but have since seen at Target and Walmart.

So how exactly is this product different from other Nerf toys?  Check out these night vision glasses! You don’t see these with your average Nerf football.

My son could not wait to get it out of the box, but you don’t want to play when it is this light?  This is a foam football sized for kids ages 6 and up.  I want to mention foam as our dog did get into this and we had to go buy a new one.  It can be eaten if in the wrong hands paws.

Once it gets dark, each player puts on his glasses, one in red and one in green.  You can buy additional sets of glasses for 5.99 each.  Then you throw the ball in the dark and you can actually see it up to 100 yards away.

Here is the ball in full action!

This would be a great present for a sleepover party.  The kids wont be sleeping anyway so get them out  to play football.  They also have a over the door basketball net but I would think my kids would stay up all night playing.

Here is the display at our local Target Store.

The kid’s consensus is that the green was easier to spot in the dark.  However, the adults thought the red.  Either way this is a great way for Nerf to branch their brand.  The Nerf Firevision Football retails for $19.99 with 2 pairs of glasses and the basketball hoop retails for $14.99.  So next Weekend night pull the kids away from the TVs and put them in the yard with FireVision you will be happy you did and you might have a little fun at the same time!
