Candy Land Game Key Chain Review

Wow the second thing I received after my vacation to review was this portable Candy Land game keychain. By no means was the excitement lost by being at home as my youngest son gets to sit in the carpool line with me for 20 minutes each day. Of course my older children had the package open before I could even take a picture.

The quality of the product is very sturdy. The key chain itself has a strong attachment that would work well on a back pack or travel bag. The one concern I had for this game is that it only had 8 cards. I know the one at home has a ton. Also the words on the board are a little hard to read because they are in such a small font.
The 2 people are magnetic so there is no trouble with a bumpy car ride or turbulent airplane. However, out of the 8 cards, 2 of them are candy cards. You know go directly to that candy on the board…but these are at the very beginning of the game. So my 4 year old got very frustrated every time one came up. At one point he “lost” the card and just played with the colored squares.

I have never actually played to see if someone won, I assume the makers did. The one advantage of this way of playing is that it will last for a long time. You could probably drive cross country or fly over the atlantic and the game will still be going on.
The other games that Wholesale Key Chains make are definitely worth trying like Connect 4, Hungry Hungry Hippo, Battleship or Bop IT. I even noticed Monopoly which would be interesting to test out. I think these would make great easter basket presents as well. The Board games retail on the site for $7.99.
