WHAT IF I WANT TO MAKE HOMEMADE WAFFLE MIX?

If you prefer to make pancakes from scratch but want a special valentine’s Day breakfast, just prepare the dry ingredients the night before and all you have to do is add the chips, wet ingredients and cook.

WHAT TO TOP MY DOUBLE CHOCOLATE WAFFLES WITH?

Fresh berries and either whipped cream or just powdered sugar.  The waffles are sweet enough and the melted chips add another dimension to your boring breakfast waffles.

Could not be an easier and quick jazzed up Waffle recipe. Your valentine does not like waffles, no worries, you can make double chocolate pancakes using the same conversion recipe.

HOW TO STORE HOMEMADE WAFFLES

Make some extra waffles or pancakes and freeze for a later use. Just be sure to allow them to cool completley on a wire rack to avoid getting soggy.

Reheat them in the microwave or toss them in your toaster when you are ready to eat.

Your family will thank you for this special Valentine’s Day Breakfast dish this Feb 14th and again for dessert one night. I won’t tell them you made them from a mix!

These are so rich you can serve them for dessert with some whipped cream. I had some organic strawberries in the freezer that I defrosted quickly in the microwave and they loved the strawberry juice instead of maple syrup.

Make someone happy any day of the year with these easy chocolate waffles.
