Pucker up for these Valentine’s Cookies

Here is a new twist to an old favorite.  We all have heard or seen the traditional Peanut Butter Cookie with a Chocolate kiss in the middle.  Well why not put a real kiss in the middle.

I have seen these done recently using a heart shaped chocolate and when I saw these lip shaped ones I could not resist.  They came from the Dollar Store so I might look for a better quality piece if the chocolate means a lot to you, but for the affect I think they are cute.

Simply make your traditional Peanut Butter Cookie Dough recipe and bake per the directions.

Allow to cool slightly then add the chocolate middle.  Then cool completely.

Here the kids decided to get a little more creative and we tried adding eyes.  Which ones do you like better?

The bag we purchased only contained 11 lips so the kids added m&m’s to the remainder of the batter and these were quite tasty.
