At our home, recycling is taken seriously by me. I can often be caught digging on top of the garbage fetching different things my husband did not recycle. Also, according to my family, our driveway looks like a dump on recycling day due to the amount we try to recycle.
I am hopeful everything is truly getting recycled and not thrown in a dump somewhere.
The true trick to recycling iis where can we store all of it. Our truck comes every two weeks. Right now we have a dual garbage drawer that one is used for garbage and the other recyclables. It is filled up on a daily basis.
I was thrilled to see this Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler come on the market that keeps things off the counter and behind a cabinet.
You don’t have to screw the product into your cabinet if you feel you might need to change locations. The clamps are rubber coated so that will not scratch your doors. You will see the outside clamps if that bothers you.
The Leak proof lined bag that is washable is 5 gallons and can hold up to 36-12oz cans. You do need to have a sizable door to fit it on and be sure that cabinet is not filled with cleaning supplies etc. The bag is soft sided so there is some flexibility.
You can clean the bag and best of all the bad and all the packaging is made from recyclable materials. Thanks Rubbermaid for being so eco friendly.
The Hidden Recycler is currently available for purchase online at Rubbermaid.com and in store at Meijer and retails for $15.99.
Thanks to the folks at Rubbermaid one lucky reader will also receive one of these great products. Enter the Rafflecopter Giveaway below to enter…Good LUCK!

We throw away cans, I know we should recycle but our recycling isn’t picked up so I guess we have gotten lazy.
I can’t think of much that we throw away but shouldn’t. However, our recycling center is rather picky about what they’ll accept. Like they only want bottles in #1 and #2 plastics – no food containers.
soda cans, milk jugs, many other items
thanks for the giveaway
we recycle everything we can but I am bad about the product bottles like myfirstbaby above, I just don’t think sometimes then I have to go dig it out later.

I try to recycle everything but I have noticed things I have to clean like cans and other food items will go in the trash rather than the recycler “box” we currently use! I am trying to not be so lazy and it would help a lot if I had this

We actually recycle just about everything we can!
I recycle Everything that I know I can.
I know certain plastics can be recycled but I don’t know where to take them. Our town doesn’t have a recycling program. They have one set of bins but it’s only for glass and newspapers, nothing else
The Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler has cleaned up the kitchen clutter! It works so great!
