Did I have you at Salted Caramel?  I so wish I knew how to make these, although I would not fit into any of my clothes anymore.  No need to do it yourself, Asher’s Chocolate does it for you and very well.

Here is a little history of Asher’s Chocolates from their site “Ashers is the oldest continuously family-owned confection company in the United States. It began in 1892, when Chester A. Asher opened a small candy shop in the heart of Philadelphia. In addition to candies, Chester and his staff of six also made jams, jellies, maple syrup, freshly baked cakes and ice creams. Beautiful European-style bonbons and rare candies were displayed in the window to tempt passersby. The Asher name quickly became associated with superb quality, and the store acquired larger space in the Philadelphia’s historic Germantown neighborhood.”

Asher’s take pride in their packaging, no worry about melting chocolate at your door step.  My package arrived in a Styrofoam cooler with an ice pack.

This perfectly sized box comes with 8 salted caramels in either dark or milk Chocolate.  I chose the Dark.  Each box is under $6.  You might want to buy a few.  These make great teacher, neighbor or hostess gifts.  They will thank you and wish they had more.

Want to spend a little more, no problem they have a wonderful selection of Gift boxes and towers filled of their homemade confections.  They even have Sugar Free Varieties for those who have to watch this.

Ashers will be giving one of my readers the same box which I will include in our Foodie Gift Selection Giveaway later this month  If you don’t want to wait or want to get your orders in before Thanksgiving, you can buy them on Asher’s Chocolate’s Website.  OR check out their Sweet Deals page where you can win FREE CHOCOLATE.
