I just got back from a long overdue physical last week, bragging to the Dr. that I was not affected by Fall Seasonal Allergies and graciously got my Flu Shot. Well this is what I get for not knocking on wood while making that statement.
My throat has been killing me and my nose is getting more and more congested each day. I need to fight this Cold and Flu Season not fall ill to it. (no pun intended)
So after carpool today I ran into our Local Walgreen’s store where I know they have fully stocked shelves of the things my family and I will need plus the savings we can all use. What I also love about Walgreens is if the kids get sick at night it has a 24 hour pharmacy.
You would have to be really sick not to see all the advertisements around the store about their new Walgreen’s Balance Reward program. This is Walgreen’s new Loyalty Card that helps you find savings all around Walgreen’s and you earn points for $5 off your next visit. You can see all the balloons and signage in just this single aisle.
Last week I signed up for Balance Rewards at the store when I picked up a perscription, it takes you no time. Since I was already a registered shopper at the Pharmacy, the Tech did signed me up automatically. You can also do it online or at the registers at the credit card checkout machines. It could not be simpler.
Walgreen’s has tons of signage up that helps you choose not only the best products for your ailment but easily defines the best Walgreens Savings and how to earn the most Balance Rewards points during your shopping mission.
Maybe you don’t have time to browse the aisles, there is a great Walgreen’s App that you can do almost anything you would need from Walgreens. I looked through it last night when I knew I needed to get something for my symptoms. I am a visual person so I like to still browse aisles but if you don’t have the time and you know what you want, they have everything thing you would need to order on line, including your prescriptions. Spend $25 and you get free shipping.

We have a Walgreens like a mile away, but I keep forgetting to stop in and learn more about their rewards program! Definitely need to stock up for cold and allergy season here: everyone gets the Ohio Valley “crud” this time of year.
