What word comes to mind when you look at this picture. Helplessness, terror, disaster, overwhelmed?
Fortunately these clothes have all been washed but now I have to fold them or convince the children to do so… However, this is a normal site at our house. Three children, a dog and husband creates a lot of laundry. I am not sure about your boys but they go through 3 outfits a day…school clothes, play clothes and pjs.
About 3 years ago we purchased a front load washer and dryer in attempts to wash more laundry in larger quantities. I have been washing with coldwater for a while as that is the preset temperature on my machine; while switching between whatever detergent was on sale.
My brand of choice is Tide but I often find it a little more expensive than the other brands. I am always on the look out for coupons to use. However, I think it is a little pricer for a reason. Clothes tend to stay a little brighter and cleaner when I wash with Tide, or at least my speculation. I always remember having really bright socks as a kid (Tide the only detergent I remember seeing in my house) and all of my children’s socks are gray in tone on the bottoms.
When I was offered to participate in The Tide Coldwater Program with SheSpeaks I thought I could finally document the cleaning of my clothes. Nothing I would have thought to do without an incentive of course.
I have no trouble finding stains on my kids clothes, in fact when I sat down to write this post, my youngest came in with a grass stain. Immediately took a photo of it for this post!! Too many times I am in a hurry and things get in there without being pre-spotted.
